3 stolen guns found in Nashua River, 1 used in recent shooting of juvenile
NASHUA — The Nashua Police Department dive team found three stolen guns - including one used in a recent shooting involving a juvenile - in the Nashua River on Monday.
A juvenile suffered from a gunshot wound Saturday night. The victim was taken to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, and later transferred to a Boston hospital for more care.
Christopher Baxter, 19, was arrested Sunday for the shooting. He was charge with reckless conduct, a class B felony, as well as falsifying physical evidence - also a class B felony.
In the past week the Nashua PD has located four stolen handguns.
