3 Seacoast cities growing faster than others in NH

Durham, Dover and Portsmouth seeing the largest percentage increase in population last year, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.

From July of 2013 to July 2014 Durham's population rose by 380, followed by Dover's increase of 295, Portsmouth's population jumped 208.

Those are the biggest increases of the larger cities. Of the smaller cities and towns, Newbury, Greenland and Fremont saw the biggest increases.

New Hampshire as a state gained 1,576 housing units during that time period.
