3 more addiction recovery centers to open throughout NH
DERRY — After witnessing success from recovery centers in Manchester, Newport and Concord, HOPE for New Hampshire Recovery decided to open three more.
A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Friday at The Friendship Center that teamed up with HOPE for New Hampshire Recovery in efforts to battle addiction.
President and CEO of HOPE for NH Recovery said, "We are excited to be joining the Derry friendship center to expand the resources available to those struggling with addiction in the Derry area."
Another community recovery center will be opened in Claremont on Monday, July 18 at 11 a.m. followed by the opening of the Berlin location on Aug. 5, at 12:30 p.m. Vice President of Programs for NH Recovery Holly Cekala said they hope to open the Franklin location by Labor Day.
"I just want people to know that recovery is a reality and there's help out there," Cekala said. "They only have to raise their hand and say I need some help."
