3 injured in two fires in Nashua

NASHUA - City fire crews responded to two fires with injuries on Thursday and early Friday morning.

The first, at 140 Kinsley St., reached two alarms. The fire call came in around 9:20 and crews had it knocked down in a little under an hour.

The fire started on the second floor and spread to a third floor attic.

One person was treated for smoke inhalation and a firefighter suffered a minor hand injury.

Five adults and two children were displaced in the fire and the Red Cross is assisting them.

In the second incident on Sun Blaze Drive just after midnight, a woman was cooking when a fire spread to her clothing, severely burning her. She was taken to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.

The Nashua Fire Marshal is investigating both fires, and the State Fire Marshal is also investigating the Sun Blaze Drive fire.
