3 injured in crash that left sedan in front yard on South River Road

Bedford police are investigating a crash that injured three people, two of which to a life-threatening degree on Friday.

Emergency responders arrived at the area of 366 South River Road to find that a sedan of indeterminate make in the yard of a home.

The car was traveling fast when it hit a utility pole on South River Road, went airborne over a fence, and crashed in the yard.

The crash ejected the two passengers who now suffer from life-threatening injuries.

South River Road is closed for the remainder of Friday evening, and drivers are asked to use Technology Drive as a detour.
