3 facing drug, other charges after Burger King traffic stop in Conway

CONWAY - 3 are facing drug charges after police said they found drugs during a traffic stop at a local Burger King.

Police said Selena Day, 30 of South Chatham, was driving when she was pulled over. During the stop police said she tried to hide items from their view that they later belived was methamphetamine.

She was charged with possession of controlled/narcotic drugs and falsifying physical evidence - both class B felonies.

Police said her passenger - George Adams, 27 of Conway - was also in possession of methamphetamine. He was also charged with possession of controlled/narcotic drugs - a class B felony.

One more person was arrested after they said Jonathan Drew, 33 of South Chatham, was supposed to be meeting with Day and Adams.

Police said he was under the influence of drugs and in possession of marijuana when they made contact with him. He was charged with possession of controlled/narcotic drugs - a class A misdemeanor.

All three were released on personal recognizance bail and are expected in court on June 7.
