28-year-old man found dead in Littleton

LITTLETON - Police said they are investigating the death of a 28-year-old man.

The Littleton Police Department, Littleton Fire Department and CALEX Ambulance were
dispatched to 231 Main St., around 3:30 p.m. Sunday.

Officials said they found a person unconscious.

Emergency medical responders could not revive the man. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials identified the man as Edward Martin III of Littleton.

The Grafton County Attorney's Office and the New Hampshire Medical Examiner's Office were notified and a toxicology report was ordered.

The cause of death is unknown pending the completion of the toxicology analysis from the medical examiner's office.

Chief Paul Smith said, "Although this tragic loss does not appear to be suspicious, evidence on
scene indicates this death to be drug related."

The Littleton Police Department is investigating.
