24 honored in Concord as nominees for NH Teacher of the Year

24 teachers from across New Hampshire were honored Tuesday as nominees during a ceremony for Teacher of the Year.

Teachers were nominated by staff members and/or students for their outstanding efforts inside the classroom.

"We're really fortunate in New Hampshire to have a number of fantastic educators, and that shows the support from the Department of Education and the Board of Education," said Joey Lee, 2014 Teacher of the Year. "We try to produce the world's best educators, and I think we do a good job here in New Hampshire."

Applications are already being accepted for 2016 teacher of the year nominees.
