2 stores robbed in Manchester in just a few hours, unknown if they're related

MANCHESTER – Manchester police are investigating two convenience store robberies that occurred within 24 hours.

At approximately 8:30 p.m. officers responded to the Shawn’s Corner Market where the clerk said a suspect armed with a knife walked in, jumped over the counter and demanded cash.

The clerk fought back but the suspect was able to grab cash and fled the store.

Around 3 a.m. Tuesday morning, a clerk at the Queen City Ave. 7-Eleven locked herself in the store’s office after a man demanded cash from the register.

Police said the Shawn’s Corner Market suspect is identified as a Caucasian male, wearing a gray and black checkered winter coat, blue jeans and a tan mask.

The 7-Eleven clerk said the robbery suspect was a male, approximately 5-foot-9 and was wearing a black colored jacket and black hooded sweatshirt. He was also wearing a gray mask over his face.

It is unknown if the robberies are related at this time.
