2 - not just 1 - of Tom Brady's missing Super Bowl jerseys recovered with FBI's help

Authorities who recovered New England Patriots star Tom Brady's missing half-million-dollar Superbowl jersey were handed a bonus when they recovered a second jersey apparently stolen in 2015.

In a statement released Monday morning, Brady's Super Bowl LI jersey was recovered by security officials from the National Football League, the New England Patriots, the FBI and other law enforcement authorities.

Officials say they also retrieved Brady's Super Bowl XLIX jersey which was stolen in 2015.

Both jerseys were "found in the possession of a credentialed member of international media" the statement reads.

Published reports indicate the jerseys were found in Mexico.

Officials are referring additional questions to FBI. It is unclear if any arrests have been made.

Brady noticed his jersey was missing shortly after February's comeback Super Bowl victory over the Atlanta Falcons.

However, the MVP quarterback remained optimistic the jersey would be found, and made jokes about tracking it down.

A Houston Police report filed after the jersey was stolen valued it at $500,000 and classified the theft as a first-degree felony.
