2 NH men charged with selling and possessing heroin and fentanyl
PELHAM — After an investigation that began last week, an search warrant was executed and two suspects were arrested on felony drug charges for allegedly selling heroin.
During the investigation, Pelham Police and Hillsborough County Sheriff's Departments Street Crime Task Force gathered evidence supporting drug sales in the Pelham home and believed the product being sold to be Fentanyl.
During the search warrant, officers were able to take the main suspect, Thomas Reagan, 27, of Pelham, NH, into custody. A second individual Sean Trudel, 39, of Manchester, NH, was also located outside of the house and was found to be in possession of drugs. Trudel attempted to swallow the drugs as officers approached him. Officers were able to recover that evidence before he could swallow the drugs. During the search of the home, officers located unpackaged white powder that was exposed on a table. Reagan identified this powder to be Fentanyl.
Due to the possible exposure to the deadly drug Fentanyl, officers were removed from the home having to put on the proper protective hazmat gear to recover the evidence safely. The powder, cash and additional drugs were seized during the search.
Regan was held on $10,000 cash bail and charged with three counts of sale of heroin. Additional charges are forthcoming. Reagan will be arraigned tomorrow at the Salem District Court, at 8 a.m. Trudel was arrest on Possession of Fentanyl and released on $5,000 Personal Recognizance bail. He will be arraigned on August 28, at 8 a.m at the Salem District Court.
The Pelham Fire Department was called out to stand by as a precaution during the search. No officers were injured from fentanyl exposure during this operation.
