2 NH men charged in violent weekend assault and burglary in Nashua
NASHUA- Two Nashua men are facing arraignment Monday morning on burglary and assault charges after a violent weekend incident.
Nashua police say they responded to a report of an assault about 2:55 a.m. Saturday morning. The victim, a 17-year-old boy, told arriving police that two men he knew broke into his residence and assaulted him and another person numerous times.
Police identified the alleged assailants, Jarid Kukas, 19, of 16 Amory St., No. 4, Nashua, and Yiranel Siri, 18, of 33 Norton St., Nashua.
Detectives also investigated and eventually charged the two with assault and burglary.
Kukas was charged with burglary, class A felony; simple assault, class A misdemeanor; and criminal mischief, class A misdemeanor. Siri was charged with burglary, class A felony.
Kukas and Siri both refused bail. A class A felony is punishable by up to fifteen years in state prison, exclusive of fines. A class A misdemeanor is punishable by up to one year in the Hillsborough County Department of Corrections, exclusive of fines.
