2 men reported lurking by parked cars near Salem Walmart arrested on drug charges

SALEM - Two men reportedly seen trying to enter parked cars outside of the Walmart on North Broadway on Wednesday afternoon now face drug charges.

Police say they arrived at the parking lot and talked to the two men, who gave conflicting reports about why they were in the parking lot. One of the two men agreed to a search and police say they found marijuana, two pills later identified as Xanax and a black sticky substance that later tested positive for heroin.

Jeremy Garcia 25, of Nashua was arrested and charged with three counts of possession of a controlled drug and one count of falsifying physical evidence.

The second man, Dominic Carrier, 20, of Nashua, was arrested on a warrant and handed over to county officials in connection with an indictment out of Hillsborough Superior Court in Nashua charging him with drug possession.

Garcia was held on $3,000 cash bail and was scheduled to be arraigned on Thursday.
