2 men lead police on 100-mph car chase, both arrested in NH backyard

DERRY — Two men led police on a car chase over 100 mph before fleeing on foot in a pursuit that ended in a backyard on Wednesday afternoon.

The Derry Police Department and New Hampshire State Police Troop B were already searching for the suspects after they fled from a traffic stop on Interstate 93 North.

Londonderry police then spotted the vehicle on Route 102 going east, at which point a chase ensued.

The two men fled from the car on foot and were apprehended in the wooded backyard of a Derry resident with help from a state police K-9 unit.
