2 men busted breaking into cars in Conway mobile home park

CONWAY - Police nabbed two men who were breaking into cars at the Lamplighter Mobile Home Park early Tuesday.

A caller reported two men entering vehicles on Buckingham Drive at about 1 a.m. Police arrived and found Jonathan Ryan, 26, of Effingham, and Gregg Reeves, 29, of Albany, breaking into a car.

Police searched the men and found several items stolen from cars in the park, including tools, money, knives, and cell phone chargers.

Ryan is charged with loitering and prowling, theft from a motor vehicle, and received stolen property. Reeves is charged with loitering and prowling, receiving stolen property, and felon in possession of a dangerous weapon.

Conway Police have yet to identify owners of some of the stolen items. Police are asking anyone who believes their car was broken into to call police Sgt. Boucher at (603) 356-5715.
