2 men arrested, charged with felony drug possession at Rochester motel
ROCHESTER – Police arrested two men and charged them with possession of drugs with the intent to distribute at Rochester’s Anchorage Inn early Thursday morning.
After receiving a tip, police obtained a search warrant for the motel room where they suspected illegal activity was taking place. After executing the warrant, Robert Jones, 48, and Scott Jones, 21, were taken into custody.
Robert Jones faces a slew of drug charges, including felony-level drug possession with the intent to distribute. He was also charged with resisting arrest. Bail was set at $25,000 and he was arraigned Thursday.
Scott Jones was also charged with felony-level drug possession. He was released on personal recognizance and will be arraigned on June 15.
