2 Manchester men arrested for allegedly prowling, entering cars

MANCHESTER - Two men have been taken into custody for allegedly prowling by walking on car door handles Monday.

Manchester police were called after a witness say two men in the Parker Street neighborhood were acting suspicious by checking all the cars.

The witness reported seeing the suspects enter a car and then nonchalantly exit the car and walk toward Winter Street and Granite Street.

Officers responded and saw the two suspects opening door of cars until one car alarm was set off.

Abdikadir Khamis, 21, and Ahmen Ali, 19, both of Manchester, were arrested and searched to reveal that each had a white powder substance on them believed to be cocaine.

Each man was charged with possession of a controlled drug, criminal trespassing and prowling.

Khamis and Ali are expected to appear in Manchester court Tuesday.
