2 Manchester men accused of running meth lab from Mass. hotel


BURLINGTON, Mass., - Two Manchester men were arrested after police said they were running a meth lab inside a Massachusetts hotel.

According to the Burlington Police Department, Eric Sowmick, 24, and Tony Pickard, 52, were charged with possession of methamphetamine Friday after a tip from hotel employees.

Burlington police, members of the Drug Enforcement Administration and the New England Lab Team searched the hotel room and found a large quantity of methamphetamine inside.

Police also arrested Dustin Beliveau, 23 of Burlington, who has a long criminal record including possession of heroin, carrying a dangerous weapons, methamphetamine related charges.

Pickard was also charged with two counts of disconnecting a sprinkler system.

All three men arrested are expected to be arraigned Monday in Woburn District Court.
