2 hospitalized after fight, stabbings in Manchester, another man in custody

MANCHESTER - Two men were transferred to Catholic Medical Center for stab wounds after police responded to a fight on Dubuque Street Monday night.

According to Manchester police, a 19-year-old and 37-year-old had stab wounds, cuts and blunt force trauma consistent with a baseball bat or large stick.

As both men bled profusely, police said Spencer Johnson, 21, was yelling and swearing at the victims.

When police ran the disorderly man’s name they found several active warrants.

Johnson was arrested on a previous warrant of theft, an electronic bench warrant and also charged with disorderly conduct.

Johnson was held for 72 hours for violating his probation.

Police believe the fight broke out over a stolen item and continue to investigation the incident.
