2 fugitive sex offenders from Strafford County arrested

CONCORD - Authorities zeroed in on fugitive New Hampshire sex offenders on Tuesday, making two arrests for maintaining their sex offender registrations.

The first offender Edward Davis, 56 of Rochester, was located at his new home in East Rochester. He has been required to register as a sex offender since his 1987 conviction for felonious sexual assault on a child between ages 13 through 16.

Davis had been wanted on an arrest warrant charging him with robbery, and additionally was wanted by the Rochester Police Department for failing to maintain his sex offender registration.

The second offender Robert Kean, 34 of Farmington, was arrested after leaving his work site in Dover. He has been required to register as a sex offender since his conviction in 2008 also for felonious sexual assault on a child between ages 13 through 16.

Kean had an outstanding arrest warrant for failure to appear on a drug related offense that was issued on March 11, and additionally was wanted by the Farmington Police Department for failing to maintain his sex offender registration.

Davis was transported to the Strafford County Jail where he is being held pending his initial court appearance, and Kean was transported to the Rockingham County Jail where he was processed and is being held pending his court appearances.
