2 Concord fugitives captured in Franklin after fleeing police on foot

FRANKLIN — A pair of Concord fugitives were busted a few towns away.

Police arrested Christopher Engelhardt and Arianna Beaulieu, both of Concord on Thursday, according to the Laconia Daily Citizen.

Franklin Police Chief David Goldstein told the paper that Beaulieu was wanted on a warrant for theft of a firearm in Allenstown and Engelhardt for a probation violation.

Franklin Police and the U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force arrived to a home at 11 East Bow Street where both fugitives fled on foot.

Officers spotted Engelhardt near Winnipesaukee Street, where he was hiding in a shed. He was then taken into custody and charged with resisting arrest, criminal trespassing and violation of the terms of his probation.

Later in the day, officers saw Beaulieu walking on Depot Street. She was taken into custody without incident and charged with theft of a firearm by unauthorized taking.
