2 Claremont men arrested for burglary, stolen firearm
CLAREMONT — Two commercial burglary investigations that have been going on since Oct. 5 led to two arrests Tuesday.
T-Bird Mini Mart, Howe Motors and the Head Start Preschool, all on Charleston Road, were robbed.
Police began to monitor Marro Home Center, and on Tuesday at about 1:30 a.m. officers discovered a burglary progress at the location.
Found in the building was 37-year-old Mark Perry and 25-year-old Justin Daisy, both of Claremont.
Perry was arrested for burlgary. He was arraigned Nov. 9 and plead not guilty. Bail was set at $5,000 cash.
Daisy was arrested on two counts of conspiracy to commit burglary and one count of a stolen firearm. Daisy will be held pending his arraignment Friday.
The investigation is ongoing and Perry is likely to face additional charges.
