2 arrested after assault, robbery in Milford
MILFORD - Two men were arrested after police said the two assaulted a driver and stole his wallet.
Milford Police Officers took a report of an assault that occurred at Cumberland Farms Store on Nashua Street. It happened at about 6:25 p.m. Tuesday.
Police said the reported assault involved a robbery.
Officers learned that two suspects entered a car parked in the Cumberland Farms parking lot.
Police said the two assaulted the driver and stole his wallet.
The suspects got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Officers were able to identify the suspects as Brandon Fernandez, 21, of Milford and James Neider, 20, also of Milford.
Both Fernandez and Neider were located and arrested without incident.
Both were held on $25,000 cash bail and were transported to Valley Street Jail.
Fernandez and Neider were arraigned in the Milford District Court on Wednesday.
Fernandez was charged with robbery, criminal liability for the conduct of another, 2nd degree assault and simple assault.
Neider is charged with robbery and criminal liability for the conduct of another.
Neider's bail remained $25,000 cash. A PC hearing is scheduled for January 28th at 10:00 am in the Milford District Court.
Fernandez's bail was reduced to $5,000 cash or bond. A PC hearing is scheduled for Jan. 28 at 10 a.m. in the Milford District Court.
