17-year-old ID'd in Tamworth fatal crash


TAMWORTH — The driver who died as a result of a crash near Chococura Lake has been identified as 17-year-old Juliette M. Bertrand-Huntley.

Bertrand-Huntley, of Madison, was driving southbound, failed to negotiate a curve and left the Route 16 roadway Saturday at about 7:16 a.m., police said.

She died at the scene as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.

The State Police were assisted at the scene by the New Hampshire State Police - Troop G, the Carroll County Sheriff's Deparment and the Tamworth Fire and Rescue Department.

Anyone with information regarding the crash is asked to contact Trooper Zachary Bilotta of the New Hampshire State Police, Troop E, Tamworth at 603-323-3333.
