16 more arrested in 2nd Manchester drug sweep in 2 weeks; cocaine, heroin, guns and cash seized

MANCHESTER - Manchester police conducted the second week of “Operation Granite Hammer,” resulting in the arrests of 16 additional people.

This was the second drug sweep in the Queen City in two weeks, for a total of 30 people arrested in the two busts. The charged ranged from possession of controlled drugs, to sale of narcotics to resisting arrest.

Friday morning, the SWAT team and members of the Special Enforcement Division arrived at 330 Lowell Street where they arrested three people with active arrest warrants.

Samantha McCarthy, 26 was arrested on sale of a controlled drug for allegedly selling mushrooms.

Patrick Heile,27, was arrested for allegedly selling marijuana.

Stephen Foden, 28 charged with 2 counts possession of a controlled drug, according to police Foden had marijuana and LSD in his possession.

Police also seized more than $5,000 in cash, a rifle and pounds of marijuana from the residence.

As part of “Operation Granite Hammer” Manchester police arrested Henry Prive, 39, on a warrant for two armed robberies in Manchester.

Dawn Russo, 39, was arrested for receiving stolen property and forgery warrants.

Bian Strandbery, 30, was charged with sale of crack-cocaine.

Ousman Trawalley, 24, was charged with possession of crack-cocaine.

Michael Patterson, 63, was allegedly found in possession of crack-cocaine.

Richard Valentin, 40, was charged with possession of heroin.

William Slocum, 29, charged with resisting arresting.

Christopher King and Nicholas Sullivan were arrested on separate active warrants.

Tiffany Copeland, 27,and Mark Demita, 47 were arrested with possession of a controlled drug.
