15 firefighters team up to battle basement fire that damaged 2-story Hudson home

HUDSON - Fifteen Hudson firefighters, officers and chief officers helped put out a fire that spanned a two story, single family home.

Crews arrived on the scene at 15 Gloria Ave. around 11:45 a.m. to heavy smoke and found that the fire centered in the basement.

Although most of the fire was put out in about 15 minutes, firefighters had to remove the exterior siding of the home to get hot spots.

This fire was placed under control at 12:16 p.m.

No one was injured in the fire, but the basement and interior walls where the fire was centered suffered heavy damage with heat and smoke damage to the remainder of the home.

The fire remains under investigation by the Hudson Fire Prevention Division.
