13 year-old cancer survivor hosts Warren Miller Film Night for CHAD

MANCHESTER - Thirteen year old Avery Forrestall has beaten cancer, twice. He was just five years-old when he was first diagnosed with leukemia.

Sunday, he will co-host the 17th annual Warren Miller Film night at the Palace Theatre at 1pm. The event typically raises about $40,000 for Children's Hospital at Dartmouth, where Avery was treated.

The event starts with a silent auction. Items such as skis and snowboards,lift tickets, restaurant gift certificates, sports memorabilia, and much more. Plus, everyone gets a goodie bag that's worth $350.

Very few tickets are still available for $20. You can purchase tickets online ( or stop by Ken Jones Ski Mart in Manchester.
