11-year-old NH boy battling Leukemia becomes Lebanon police's newest officer
The Lebanon police department held a special "swearing-in" ceremony Monday at the Children's Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.
The newest officer - 11-year-old Gage Wilson - is a patient there battling leukemia.
Gage has always wanted to be a police officer so Lebanon police made a special trip to visit Gage and honor his bravery and determination.
During the ceremony, Gage was presented with a framed “Oath of Office” and a special plaque.
