100 films to be shown at upcoming film festival in Portsmouth

PORTSMOUTH — The New Hampshire Film Festival announced that it is releasing 100 films that have been accepted to its 16th annual film festival.

The films will be shown at various locations and times over the course of the four-day festival from Oct. 13 to 16 in downtown Portsmouth.

A schedule of show times will be released in the upcoming weeks.

“Narrowing down the many submissions into this year’s list of accepted films was a true labor of love,” said NHFF Executive Director Nicole Gregg. “We spent hours upon hours reviewing the films to ensure there’s a little something for every body at this year’s festival.”

Other events are reported to include after parties, movie premieres, and appearances by filmmakers and celebrities.
