100 Dunkin' Donuts locations to be closed

CONCORD – Right after NH1 Top 5 named Dunkin' Donuts the No. 1 best coffee place, there is some sad news for those who 'run on Dunkin.'

The parent company of Dunkin' Donuts, Dunkin' Brands, announced Thursday that it plans to close 100 Dunkin' Donuts stores in the U.S. by the end of 2016.

According to CNN, although dozens of Dunkin' Donuts' will be closed, the company still plans to open more in California.

The company has not released which stores will close but 100 locations is a fraction of the millions of Dunkin's locations.

The upside? Now there are less locations for members of the Patriots to go - so maybe we could be running into more sports stars at Dunks.
