About 1,000 Brunton Brand batteries have been recalled because they have overheated and caught on fire.

Two fires have been reported, one of which resulted in about $25,000 of property damage and the other one burning down a garage.

Though there have been fires, no injuries have been reported.

These batteries were sold nationally from February 2011 until May 2015 for about $300.
