1,000 Brunton batteries recalled after for overheating and catching fire
About 1,000 Brunton Brand batteries have been recalled because they have overheated and caught on fire.
Brunton batteries are portable battery packs that are used to charge electronic devices.
Two fires have been reported, one of which resulted in about $25,000 of property damage and the other one burning down a garage.
Though there have been fires, no injuries have been reported.
These batteries were sold nationally from February 2011 until May 2015 for about $300.
