Take Yourself Out to a Ballgame in NH This Weekend!

I can’t think of a better way to wrap-up the first week of July than by taking the family out to the ballgame, and no matter where you are in New Hampshire, there are plenty of fun and inexpensive options nearby, some with post game fireworks and cheap eats!

If you’re looking for pro baseball, the New Hampshire Fisher Cats are home for games against the Reading Fightin’ Phils on Friday and Saturday nights at 7:05, and Sunday at 1:35, at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium in Manchester. There are fireworks after the night games and kids can run the bases following Sunday’s matinee.

Concord’s Memorial Field is home to the New Hampshire Wild of the Empire Professional Baseball League. The Wild have Friday and Saturday games at 6:05 and a doubleheader Sunday starting at 1 p.m.

There’s wooden bat amateur action in the Lakes Region on Friday and Sunday at 6:05 p.m. as the Winnipesaukee Muskrats host New England Collegiate Baseball League games at Robbie Mills Park in Laconia. You could catch tomorrow's MLB stars! Former Muskrat pitcher Evan Phillips made his big league debut this past week for the Atlanta Braves against the Yankees in New York.

You also can catch the Muskrats in action Saturday at Alumni Field in Keene when they take on the Swamp Bats in a 4 p.m. doubleheader.

And the Futures Collegiate Baseball League Champion Nashua Silver Knights are at Historic Holman Stadium on Friday night at 6:45 with fireworks to follow and Sunday at 5:05 p.m. with dollar hot dogs.

With all these options, you have plenty of opportunities to take in America's pasttime this weekend!
