Adventurous Fundraising! Banff Mountain Film Festival Returns to Portsmouth

The Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour returns to Portsmouth this week for a fundraiser for Goodwin Community Health and Families First with a slate of exciting outdoor adventure films.

Both organizations provide access to primary, dental, prenatal, and behavioral health care as well as community wellness and public health services for income-levels.

Lara Willard, Director of Marketing and Community Relations for Goodwin Community Health, said this is their biggest fundraising event every year.

This is the 23rd year the festival has come to Portsmouth. According to a press release "the 2018 World Tour features a collection of adrenaline-charged and thought-provoking films that explore life on the mountains."

On Wednesday and Thursday night, eight short films will be shown each night, including a few four-to-five minute films mixed in with longer 35-plus minute features.
