We are seeking an energetic, creative, career-oriented, responsible, hard working, and dedicated Sale Professional to join our Portland Sales Team. The ideal candidate is highly motivated to help local business people solve marketing problems and capitalize on sales opportunities.
The person we're looking for needs to be very positive, energetic, efficient, have a personal drive to succeed, must be able to take direction, and have reliable transportation. Prior Media Sales experience is preferred, however, we are willing to train the right person if need be.
Required Qualifications: The right candidate will be a team player who takes initiative with excellent written, verbal, computer, and communication skills. All employees are expected to bring a positive attitude to the work place and be cheerful, cooperative and productive and to perform other such duties as may be required for the efficient operations of the stations.
2.) Part-time Promotions/Events Assistant
We are seeking a responsible, hard working, and dedicated Part Time Promotions Assistant to join our team. Ideal candidate is energetic, efficient and capable of multi-tasking in a lively fast paced environment.
The position will require a candidate to work as a brand ambassador at on-site promotions, and perhaps on small in-office projects. On-site responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting the station with display set-up/breakdown, set-up/breakdown of broadcast equipment, and driving the station vehicle around the state.
Required Qualifications: The right candidate will be a team player who takes initiative with excellent written, verbal, computer, and communication skills. All employees are expected to bring a positive attitude to the work place and be cheerful, cooperative and productive and to perform other such duties as may be required for the efficient operations of the station. The right candidate:
Must be a professional and a proven team player with customer focus
Must be available to work days/evenings/weekends/holidays
Valid driver license and a clean driving record is required
Must be able to lift equipment up to 50 lbs.
NOTE: Must be able to lift 50lbs. No prior radio experience is necessary!
3.) Internships--Join our Street Team!
We are currently seeking interns for event marketing in the world of Radio Broadcasting and Promotions. As a valuable asset to the station's Promotions Department you will:
-Create and gain exposure for the station at station produced and/or sponsored events, area concerts, sporting and cultural events
-Assist with station public relations efforts
-Be exposed to radio sales, programming, and production as you receive an insider's look at the operations of a commercial radio station
To be eligible for an internship, you must:
• Have knowledge of computers and adequate typing skills
• Be energetic, enthusiastic, and upbeat
• Be enrolled in a college/university program and receive academic credit for the internship
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have a valid driver's license
** These internships are unpaid. The hours are flexible although interns will be required to participate in weekend and evening events.
